Privacy
Screef collects no data about you. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server to send anything to.
Everything you make in Screef — your sheets, lyrics, chords, tags and audio takes — is written to storage on your own device and stays there. Screef contains no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising identifiers and no third-party trackers of any kind.
What leaves your device
Nothing, unless you send it yourself. If you export a sheet or share an audio take, that file goes wherever you choose to send it, through the sharing features of iOS. Screef has no involvement in what happens to it after that.
If you have iPhone backups switched on, Screef’s data is included in those backups the same way every other app’s is. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple’s privacy policy, not by Screef.
Purchases
Screef is free to download and includes a one-time purchase to unlock unlimited sheets. Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Screef never sees your name, payment details or billing address — it receives only a confirmation from Apple that a purchase is valid. Apple’s handling of that transaction is covered by Apple’s privacy policy.
If you email support
If you write to support@screef.app, that message and your email address arrive in an ordinary mailbox. They are used only to answer you, are never added to a mailing list, and are never shared or sold. You can ask for your correspondence to be deleted at any time.
Children
Screef collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date below. Since the app collects nothing, any change is likely to be a clarification rather than a new practice.
